How to read this page: counts are the State Election Board's posted totals. Percentages are each candidate's share of votes counted so far in that area. "Precincts not yet reported" is based only on the official precinct counts and is not an estimate of remaining votes. A check mark appears only after every precinct in that area has reported; it marks the most votes counted there, not a call or a certified result. Mail = absentee by mail; Early = in-person early voting; Election Day = votes cast Nov 3. The "+" figures show what changed since this page last checked.
How the Facts First estimate works. It is our arithmetic, not an official result, a projection service, or a race call. Oklahoma posts mail and early votes first; Election Day votes arrive precinct by precinct. We estimate Election Day votes still out from the average per reported precinct, shown as a wide range. We show an estimate only when at least half the precincts have reported, at least 1,000 votes are counted, the lead is at least 10 points, and the trailing candidate would need about 80% or more of the high end of the remaining votes. Otherwise it says "Too close to estimate" or that too many votes may still be out. Replayed on the official 2024 general election precinct results (1,574 race areas, 20 random reporting orders plus a worst-case order), the rule never named the wrong candidate. The official count decides every race.
